This third-generation SKYFi 3 receiver now includes a built-in battery for portable playback of recorded XM content, or MP3/WMA files stored on an optional microSD memory card. Add the included* Wearable Live Kit to turn your SKYFi 3 receiver into a live portable radio, capable to listening live XM programming on the go! Furthermore, the SKyFi 3 comes standard with the all-new SureConnect by XM Satellite Radio. XM has introduced a new technology - XM SureConnect - for listening to XM through your FM radio. XM SureConnect is an antenna that provides XM subscribers with the best sound quality possible. XM receivers with SureConnect are compatible only with Car Kits with SureConnect. And receivers without SureConnect are only compatible with Car Kits without SureConnect. Included with the radio is a vehicle adapter kit for car installations, USB cable to transfer digital music files to the radio, earbuds and a remote control.
